Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about participating in ESSENCE 2027: from eligibility and team guidelines to evaluation rubrics and prototype requirements.
All bona fide undergraduate students enrolled in any recognised college, university, or polytechnic institution across the state of Maharashtra are eligible. Students from engineering, commerce, arts, sciences, pharmacy, management, architecture, and vocational streams are welcome.
You may participate either as an individual or in a team of 2 to 4 members. We strongly encourage interdisciplinary teams (for example, combining engineering students with commerce or design students) to ensure both technical feasibility and real-world viability.
